Proposal Development Coordinator

About the Role
PCL Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Student to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Proposal Student, you will play a key role in supporting our Proposal Specialists in the development of submission documents, including Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the review process of RFP requirements, development of proposal outlines, and timelines/assignments.
- Participate in the kick-off 'Strategic Visioning' and Proposal Planning session to ensure all key proposal stakeholders are represented.
- Conduct research to gather key submission data necessary to create a submission document.
- Assist in translating a proposal 'Vision' into a compelling proposal layout and graphic design, working primarily in InDesign.
- Assist in the assembly and review of responses for compliance, accuracy, and content, and coordinate/participate in review sessions with teammates/stakeholders.
- Accurately proof, edit, and reword text.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a communications field.
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset.
