Operational Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Security Specialist to join our team at OLG. As a key member of our corporate security services, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and training of security personnel, maintaining safety and security across various shifts and locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring the safety of employees, guests, property, and assets
  • Coordinate with the manager and other business units to ensure alignment of security measures with operations
  • Lead, mentor, motivate, and evaluate security team members, addressing performance, disciplinary, or operational concerns
  • Oversee shift schedules, coordinate coverage, and requirements
  • Monitor, evaluate, and approve incident reports, daily logs, and other officer activities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in security, preferably within a corporate environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and other security technologies
  • 3 years of experience developing and conducting training
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR; instructor-level certification at the BLS level is preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Ministry of Health Patient Care Standards, Freedom of Information, healthcare records, and Use of Force requirements

The estimated salary for this position is $81,500 - $123,000 CAD per year, depending on experience.
