About the Role

This leadership position oversees all accommodations functions within the Ministry, including maintenance of the Ministry Strategic Accommodation Plan. As a key member of the ministry leadership team, you will foster relationships between external and internal clients, lead HR processes and support services, and support the implementation of OH&S functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy implementation by supporting the development, direction, and execution of strategic planning and operational plans.
  • Enable individual performance of individuals on your team, ensuring adequate resources and motivation to achieve success.
  • You will ensure safety and employee health and well-being are a priority and you will hold yourself and others accountable for their behaviors and work achievements.
  • Manage teams and relationships by creating an environment of trust, equity, and strong workplace culture.
  • Facilitate collaboration by creating and maintaining effective and valuable work relationships, making connections between various programs and initiatives for organizational efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Ability to liaise with other agencies, staff, and other ministries, to obtain, exchange, coordinate or confirm information while maintaining confidentiality and staying within policies and procedures.
  • Ability to independently assess, establish, adjust, and accurately complete multiple tasks while taking into consideration task complexity, frequent interruptions, deadlines, available resources, and multiple reporting relationships.
  • Ability to listen, accurately comprehend and orally respond to inquiries from clients, other agencies, or the general public and/or relay information, directions or questions in person or over the phone in an accurate, clear, concise and courteous manner.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,490 to $96,675 annually, comprehensive benefits package including pension, vacation, scheduled days off (SDO) and other types of leave, and inclusive work environments.
