Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients' physical and cognitive functioning, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies. You will also support return-to-work programs, participate in case conferences, and collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
Responsibilities:- Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning within the clinic setting
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
- Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies
- Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations
- Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Participate in case conferences and case management
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic
- Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
- Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs
- Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
- Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
- Ability to be autonomous and work both independently and as part of the team
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
- Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSBC referrals is a strong asset
- Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset. New grads are welcome to apply.
