Job Summary

Nam & Kim Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.

Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

30 hours per week.
