About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Montana's BBQ and Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hiring food service staff.

Ensure Quality Control

You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns, and preparing and submitting reports.

Establish Work Schedules

You will be responsible for establishing work schedules, supervising and checking the assembly of trays, and supervising and checking the delivery of food trolleys.

Supervise and Train Staff

You will be responsible for supervising and training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.

Work Experience

Experience in a food service environment is an asset.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.

Personal Suitability

You will be required to have excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

You will be working in a restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work

The hours of work are 32 to 40 hours per week.
