About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Canadian Brew House (Moose Jaw) Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train our staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and manage our inventory to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary to maintain our high standards.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that we are meeting our financial targets.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve any issues promptly.

Maintain Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this information to inform our business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demand.

Transportation

Public transportation is available, and you may be required to use your own transportation to get to work.

Personal Suitability

You must have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
