Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures to ensure high-quality food and service
  • Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and manage staff performance
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and walk during shifts
