Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including training and development.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
