Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our accounting and clerical department at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operational functions, managing financial data, and leading a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the production and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, manage timely cash collection, and implement Finance Department initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead finance department operations, including AP, billing, collections, and payroll, and manage daily cash flow.
  • Financial Reporting: Present monthly financial reports to executives and partners, and review team deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Internal Control: Evaluate, implement, and optimize policies, procedures, and controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: Prior Controller experience preferred, with expertise in Internal Control and financial statements, and knowledge of KPI Reporting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and excellent communication and social skills.
  • Certifications: CPA/MBA preferred.
