Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Subway, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a team of food service staff. The work environment will be noisy, with odors and wet/damp conditions. The supervisor will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position.

Hours:

The supervisor will work 40 hours per week.
