Laboratory Assistant

At Viterra, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Quality Control Department as a temporary Lab Assistant. This role will involve working with other staff in the lab to perform routine lab testing of grain samples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples of grains, oilseeds or specialty crops for the Grain Inspectors;
- Complete data entry tasks;
- Maintain lab cleanliness standards;
- Sort and file documents and samples;
Requirements:
- Interest in the agriculture industry;
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations;
- Detail-oriented work style;
- Organized with strong time management skills;
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge, skill, and competence will be considered.
