Grain Grader Specialist

As a Grain Grader at SGS, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of grain products. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory analysis and grading of grain samples
- Provide technical guidance and training to inspectors
- Communicate with grain elevators to resolve grade issues
- Assist in performing various laboratory analyses, including moisture, protein, and dockage testing
- Maintain and monitor laboratory equipment
- Issue grading reports and provide findings to grain elevators
- A minimum of a High School diploma
- Over 2 years of experience as a Grain Grader Level 2
- Previous experience in performing preliminary grain inspections and grain grading
- Proficiency in using various computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Valid driver's license
