Facilities Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Director - Property Operations to join our team at Coast Mental Health. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of property, maintenance, modernization, and improvement management, financial administration, leadership, and tenant management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance and inspection schedules for all properties and facilities.
- Manage the Properties department Emergency On-Call system.
- Coordinate regular facility inspections, identify needs, and prepare plans for building repairs and maintenance.
- Initiate and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum life expectancy of all properties and building systems.
- Participate in the development of organizational policies and procedures related to the Properties department.
- Liaise with municipalities on issues such as permits and licenses, zoning and by-laws, fire and safety codes, and regulated building equipment.
- Responsible for the overall management, acquisition, and disposition of the department's vehicle fleet.
- Prepare and provide regular departmental reports and key performance indicators.
- Work with consultants, engineers, and trades.
About You
- You have a proven track record of managing multi-unit properties and facilities.
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience preferably in non-profit housing management.
- Experience in project management, capital budget planning, purchasing, property management, and maintenance.
- Related diploma or degree (e.g., Facilities or Operations Management) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Property management designation such as CPM, RPM, or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Proof of Full Covid-19 Immunization.

Salary Range:$70,764.00Midpoint$88,455.00$101,723.00
The estimated salary range for this role is between $70,764.00 and $101,723.00 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
