Cashier Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier Team Lead to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our cashiers and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train cashiers to ensure they are meeting our high standards of customer service and sales performance.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to cashiers to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cashiers and other team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
