We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for managing cash handling, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Cash Handling: Manage cash, process transactions, and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling environment.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff members.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
