Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites. As a Hotel Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Team Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for hotel staff, including hiring and training new employees.
  • Operations: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Technology: Proficient in MS Office, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all hotel staff undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient in interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexible, initiative, judgement, and a team player.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
