Job Summary

GROUPE GERMAIN INC is seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators, such as guest satisfaction, revenue, and employee performance.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Identify and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Client Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure that their expectations are met.
  • Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange for repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and team player.
