The Role:

We are seeking a bilingual (French/English) individual to join our team as a Delivery Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient delivery functions, meeting KPIs, and communicating with drivers and customers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow delivery issues from start to finish, communicating with drivers and customers as necessary.
  • Act as an active problem-solver for delivery issues, including arranging meetups for drivers and assisting customers with route changes.
  • Assign routes to drivers based on a specific day/area according to a weekly game plan and schedule.
  • Evaluate and communicate coverage needs and departmental capacity each day.
  • Be a power user with Onfleet, our live dispatch application, to meet timelines and strategic goals.
  • Support our large fleet of drivers, providing assistance, addressing issues, and communicating remotely via Slack and phone.
  • Use attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate work.
  • Continuously monitor delivery efficiency and facilitate communication between drivers and customers as needed.
  • Answer delivery-related calls and emails and problem-solve live for customer delivery issues.
  • Estimate ETAs and adjust plans throughout the day to avoid late deliveries.

Requirements:

  • College or university degree (preferred), or high school diploma and equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Enjoy a high level of accountability and independence in work.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks as per importance.
  • Tech savvy with good command of Google Suite, particularly spreadsheets, and Slack with an ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Confident in communicating clearly with diverse individuals while ensuring the message is received and understood.
  • Positive, respectful attitude with good people skills.
  • Reliable and available to work a consistent Saturday to Wednesday or Sunday to Thursday schedule at 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to commute to our beautiful Montréal facility. Work from home days are also available if you have a comfortable and quiet place to work from home.
