We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. as a key member of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Data & AI GTM NAMER team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential by leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. As a Generative AI Solution Architect, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing solutions that utilize our Generative AI services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop strategic go-to-market plans to accelerate adoption of AWS ML/AI platforms.
  • Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML Service teams to drive customer engagement and provide technical guidance.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and AWS SageMaker services teams to gather feedback and improve product offerings.
  • Develop and maintain an internal community of ML-related subject matter experts worldwide, creating field enablement materials to support SA population integration of GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and academic communities to explore new solutions and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Gen AI.
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting applications and infrastructures.
  • 5+ years managing technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5 years specific technology domain areas experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
Bonus Requirements
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
  • Active in open source communities like HuggingFace, StableDiffusion.

The estimated salary for this role is $200,000 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations.
