We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at Herbison Bros. Enterprises Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor workforce. As a Landscape Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, carting and spreading topsoil and other materials, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. You must be physically demanding and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Plant and move trees
Requirements
  • Experience in landscape construction or maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Willingness to travel regularly
