About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex analysis of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including low and medium voltage switchgear, electric motors, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and protection relays.
  • Develop and implement Construction Work Packages (CWP's) to outline proper repair or modification and subsequent testing of existing equipment.
  • Provide technical support for maintenance activities, assisting Tradespeople, Maintenance Planners, and Coordinators in troubleshooting and resolving electrical and instrumentation problems.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and support for turnaround-related activities.
  • Design and implement improvements and modifications to existing equipment.
  • Perform economic analysis and risk assessments of alternative repair paths, considering effectiveness of repair along with impact to safety, environment, operation, and mean time to repair durations.
  • Prepare tender documentation, review submissions, and recommend vendor award for major pieces of replacement equipment and repairs.
Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with other functions in our Maintenance & Reliability business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Equipment Integrity, Reliability Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and Coordination.
