About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at Herbison Bros. Enterprises Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod, seeding, and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as small engine equipment, skidsteers, and automated irrigation systems.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Work Environment

This is an outdoor position that requires working in various locations, including residential projects, parks, and recreation sites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in landscape construction, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of small engine equipment, skidsteers, and automated irrigation systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
