Job Title: Steel Stud Framer - Construction Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Work Environment: You will be working at heights, in a noisy and dusty environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
