Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment:

The Steel Stud Framer will work in a construction environment with varying locations, including commercial and residential sites.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty environments
  • Physically demanding work with handling heavy loads and tight deadlines
