Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The successful candidate will work on building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Work Environment:

The Steel Stud Framer will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work sites, including residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
