Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment:

The Steel Stud Framer will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as handling heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in steel stud framing or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
