Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Interstate Freight Systems Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers
    • Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
    • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations
    • Monitor the performance of our delivery drivers and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce transit times.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure all drivers are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor driver behavior and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders
    • Communicate with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery operations.
    • Provide regular updates on delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication
    • Excellent written communication
    • Flexibility

    • Team player
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Air Brakes Endorsement
    • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
    • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
