Job Summary

Sunstar Haulers Inc is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers and other personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Train and Develop personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in transportation management.
  • Dispatch and Monitor routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Operate and Maintain signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals of vehicles and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies to support transportation operations.
  • Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) is required.
  • Valid Driver's Licence is required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trucking industry is preferred.
  • Permanent employment is offered.
  • 30 to 70 hours per week of work is required.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
