Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, including advising on wine selection and providing recommendations on drink options.
  • Collect payment from guests and record and balance beverage sales.
  • Store beverage and food products in a clean and organized manner.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
Requirements:
  • Smart Serve certification.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and a team player attitude.
