Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions for diverse client groups, using evidence-based practices and standards established by VHA and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Develop and implement client-centered care plans, working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure coordinated delivery of care through effective communication and collaboration with the client's care team.
- Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress, using valid and reliable outcome measures.
- Support safe client care through ongoing education and skill development, in accordance with VHA's principles of continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
