We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts and Service Coordinator to join our team at Work Truck West. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating our day-to-day sales, rentals, parts, and service offerings, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Manager with scheduling bookings, written work orders, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate the shop flow to minimize downtime and ensure technicians have the necessary resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Support the Service Manager with scheduling and coordinating repair jobs, data entry for repair orders, and invoicing.
  • Assist with quoting, invoicing, and shipping purchased parts to customers.
  • Maintain inventory levels, reorder parts as needed, and receive, package, and ship parts orders in a timely manner.
  • Process warranty claims for parts in a timely and efficient manner.
Additional Office Duties
  • Answer customer telephone calls as a backup to reception.
  • Manage office supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Assist with parts sales and other related tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role in an equipment dealership, rental agency, or related industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly within tight schedules and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional, hard-working attitude with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Good computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Class 5 or 7 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary training in business, administration, professional sales, or marketing.
  • Technical trades training, preferably in a related program such as Heavy-Duty Technician (Off-Road).
  • Advanced technical understanding of hydraulic attachments and excavator equipment.
  • Previous experience using a large forklift, 10,000 lb capacity minimum.
