Job Summary



As a Retail Business Leader, you will be responsible for driving store results through strategic planning, sales forecasting, and effective team management. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities



  • Forecast sales and payroll to drive store performance.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales results and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of Assistant Managers and Supervisors to enhance their leadership and business skills.
  • Maintain optimum store staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer experiences while adhering to budgetary goals.
  • Conduct inventories and maintain updated inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders to resolve any concerns.
  • Make strategic merchandising decisions to grow the business in accordance with Sephora's concepts.


Requirements



To succeed as a Retail Business Leader at Sephora, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
  • Previous experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to analyze sales trends and react appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent, with a College degree preferred.
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and bend/stretch to stock shelves.

Salary



The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a Retail Business Leader at Sephora, you will have access to competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
