Job Summary:

We are seeking a Health Care Aide to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. As a Health Care Aide, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, promoting hygiene and safety, and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional and physical support to residents, including those who are dying
  • Participate in infection control and preventative maintenance programs
  • Transport residents to meals, recreation activities, and other events
  • Document care delivery on resident records

Requirements:

  • Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or completed two years of accepted registered nursing education program
  • One year of previous experience as a Health Care Aide preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend fluent English
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
