Health Care Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Aide to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with mealtime and feeding residents as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in resident health status to the unit nurse
- Participate in infection control and preventative maintenance programs
- Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate or completed two years of accepted registered nursing education program
- One year previous experience as a Health Care Aide preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend fluent English
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
