About the Role

The Neurology Specialist will report to the National Business Manager, Neurology, and will be responsible for promoting Lundbeck's neurology products and services to healthcare professionals and relevant clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve territory sales objectives for all Lundbeck promoted products in neurology.
  • Develop and implement a business plan to maximize selling efforts and optimize growth opportunities in their territory and nationally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, including doctors, nurses, and business partners, and identify their needs to inform them about Lundbeck's high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with sales team members and other departments to offer tailored solutions and maximize neurology product potential and sales.
  • Manage activity territory budget to optimize reach and targeted customer interaction.
  • Prepare and analyze each visit and call as per the procedure in place to move customers along the adoption ladder.
  • Effectively implement needs-based, certified programs and other learning activities as per cycle plan of action and follow up to optimize impact.
  • Work closely with the Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities and develop advocacy in territory.
  • Use the CRM system to ensure that field activities are captured and documented.
  • Use the sales and performance report system to optimize performance across the territory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration.
  • A minimum of five years of sales experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in neurology or two years with experience in neurology.
  • Mastery to present scientific data on product with clarity using promotional tools and approved clinical trials.
  • Proven track record of promoting products and managing clients in a knowledge-intensive sector; experience working with neurologists an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and business analytical skills.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Familiar with the use of technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a valid driving license in Canada.
