Job Title: Neurology Specialist

About the Role:

The Neurology Specialist is a key member of our national sales team, responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives for Lundbeck Canada. As a Neurology Specialist, you will be part of a highly effective and motivated team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales objectives for all Lundbeck promoted products in neurology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including neurologists, nurses, and business partners, to promote Lundbeck's high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, medical, and market access teams to develop and implement effective sales plans and tactics.
  • Manage territory budget to optimize reach and targeted customer interaction.
  • Prepare and analyze sales data to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Work closely with the Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities and develop advocacy in the territory.
  • Use the CRM system to ensure that field activities are captured and documented.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration.
  • A minimum of five years of sales experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in neurology.
  • Mastery of presenting scientific data on products with clarity using promotional tools and approved clinical trials.
  • Proven track record of promoting products and managing clients in a knowledge-intensive sector.
  • Strong business acumen and business analytical skills.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Familiar with the use of technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driving license in Canada.
