Neurology Specialist

About the Role:
The Neurology Specialist is a key member of our national sales team, responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives for Lundbeck Canada. As a Neurology Specialist, you will be part of a highly effective and motivated team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales objectives for all Lundbeck promoted products in neurology.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including neurologists, nurses, and business partners, to promote Lundbeck's high-quality products.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to identify and implement key tactics to maximize selling efforts and achieve sales objectives.
- Manage activity territory budget to optimize reach and targeted customer interaction.
- Prepare and analyze each visit and call to move customers along the adoption ladder.
- Effectively implement needs-based, certified programs and other learning activities to optimize impact.
- Work closely with the Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities and develop advocacy in territory.
- Use the CRM system to ensure that field activities are captured and documented.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration.
- A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in neurology or 2 years with experience in neurology.
- Mastery to present scientific data on product with clarity using promotional tools and approved clinical trials.
- Proven track record of promoting products and managing clients in a knowledge-intensive sector; experience working with neurologists an asset.
- Strong business acumen and business analytical skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Familiar with the use of technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Must have a valid driving license in Canada.
Working Conditions:
- Normal working hours.
- Evening/Weekend commitments: No.
- % of travel required: 10-40%.
