Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Insurance & Bonding to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our Insurance & Surety department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate issuance of bonds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Insurance & Surety department by performing required duties
  • Ensure bonds are issued in a timely manner with high accuracy
  • Build constructive relationships across the organization as well within the Insurance and Bonding group, providing leadership support and guidance as required
  • Assist in managing insurance & surety within the P3 process
  • Input insurance coverage on a timely basis
  • Gather and prepare information required for corporate renewal
  • Review insurance requirements in contracts
  • Liaison with broker & seek advice to ensure no coverage gaps

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with CCDC contracts is an asset
