Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition education and support to clients with mental health and addictions issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and facilitate nutrition education sessions for clients
  • Assess clients' nutritional needs and formulate, implement, and evaluate their care plans
  • Counsel individual clients as required and consult with clinical staff on client care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide optimal nutritional care
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nutrition or equivalent
  • Comprehensive dietetic internship from a Dietitians of Canada accredited program
  • Licensed and registered in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language
  • Understanding of the needs of clients with addictions and/or mental illness
