About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AVP Strategy Lead to support the annual refresh of our Enterprise Strategy. This role will involve defining long-term goals and objectives that align with our organization's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on our business.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases to justify strategic investments and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to gather input, build consensus, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and business models to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience in strategy at a management consulting firm or similar role in the industry.
  • 7+ years of leading teams in a professional setting.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at all levels.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Expertise in using data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from datasets.
  • Strong understanding of the banking and payments industries, including regulatory landscape, economic trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results within deadlines.

What We Offer

Peoples Trust is pleased to offer a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $150,000 – $190,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
