Magnolia Dental is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist dentists with procedures, such as preparing instruments, mixing materials, and sterilizing equipment.
- Provide excellent patient care, educating patients on oral hygiene and answering their questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with our dental laboratory to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dental restorations and appliances.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
