Work Package Financial Controller

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Work Package Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely financial management of our work packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the correct and proper financial validation of work packages to support the Estimate at Completion (EAC) of each project.
  • Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure coherence between the BOM used as validation base for Project EAC and Financials Actual + TO BE Engaged.
  • Monitor and forecast revenue and gross margins arising from the project, setting control environment for the revenue and margin management.
  • Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.
  • Ensure that work package approval process is strictly compliant with Alstom Rule & RAMS.

Requirements:

  • Degree in finance or business management with financial qualification or may have engineering degree (with financial training).
  • Minimum 2/3 years of post-graduate experience in an industrial/manufacturing sector, in a controlling position.
  • English fluent, French an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP.

  • Ability to interpret business related data.
  • Open to think out the box, to analyze industrial, manufacturing, sourcing procurement and all other business aspects.
  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to convince with presentations.
  • Affinity to finance and numbers.
  • Good analytical as well as problem-solving skills.
