Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Financial Controller to join our team at Alstom, a leading company in the mobility sector. As a Project Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial success of our projects, driving business growth, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective cost-saving measures.
    • Maintain strong relationships with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Cost Control and Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement robust cost management strategies to minimize risks and optimize project outcomes.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any financial or operational issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
    • Provide regular financial updates and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges.
    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across all aspects of project delivery.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement best practices, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and industry benchmarks.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project financial management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
    • Proven track record of delivering successful projects, meeting financial targets, and driving business growth.
  • Skillset:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Strong technical knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and cost accounting.
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with minimal supervision.
