We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Mountain House Bakery & Cake Art. Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Supervise and train a team of bakers and pastry chefs to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to produce high-quality products.
- Product Development: Work with our head chef to develop new recipes and products that meet the demands of our customers.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our products meet our high standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, work under pressure.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads. They will also be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
