Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving strategic financial insights and driving profitable growth in our retail channel. You will partner closely with retail leadership to develop robust financial plans, forecasts, and analyses, ensuring data-driven decision making for optimizing store performance and overall long-term retail profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the retail channel.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making, including store CAPEX payback, bonus/commission structure strategy/refinement, tech implementation planning, 4-wall profitability analysis, international profitability analysis, and long-range planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Monitor and evaluate retail 4-wall store performance, including sales, margins, payroll expenses, and profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve store performance and drive growth.
  • Partner with retail operations to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in retail performance.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • MBA or CPA.
  • 7-10 years of experience preferred in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on retail or consumer goods.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expertise in Excel and financial planning software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory, and margin management.
  • Experience in a retail or front-line manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in a coach-player role, showcasing the ability to lead and contribute hands-on.
