Job Posting

Bridgeway Support Services, a division of Bridgeway Family Homes, is seeking highly skilled professionals to support families, children, youth, and young adults who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.

We are looking for experienced individuals to provide goal-focused services in one of Bridgeway's Treatment Foster Homes. As an independent contractor, you will be part of a collaborative professional team that provides services in Foster Homes and the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the collaborative team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Goal-Focused Services: Provide scheduled services to families and individuals, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Activity Development: Create engaging, goal-focused activities to support the well-being of children, youth, and families.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children and youth while providing services.
Qualifications:
  • Certification and Education: Hold a certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care Practitioner from a recognized college or university.
  • Experience: Possess 2-5 years of experience providing services to children, youth, and families with diverse needs.
  • Certifications: Hold current Verbal De-escalation Certification and CPR/First Aid certifications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, administrative, and report-writing skills.
Requirements:
  • Criminal Record Check: Obtain a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check from the local Police.
  • Child Welfare Record Check: Obtain a current Child Welfare Record Check from the local Children's Aid Society.
  • Driver's Abstract: Possess a Driver's Abstract and a Class 'G' Driver's License.
  • Vehicle Insurance: Have access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
  • Computer and Email: Possess a computer and a personal email address.
