Job Title: Child and Youth Care Professional

At Bridgeway Family Homes, we are seeking experienced Child and Youth Care Practitioners to join our team in providing goal-focused services to families and individuals in one of our Treatment Foster Homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide scheduled, goal-focused services to families and individuals.
  • Develop and implement goal-focused activities.
  • Communicate effectively with collaborative team members.
  • Complete case notes, reports, and other administrative tasks.
  • Transport children/youth while providing services.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care from a recognized college or university.
  • 2-5 years of experience providing services to children/youth and/or families with a variety of critical needs.
  • Current Verbal De-escalation Certification with experience in crisis prevention.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses is an asset.
Requirements:
  • Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Current Child Welfare Record Check.
  • Driver's Abstract, Class 'G' Driver's License.
  • Access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
