Mechanical Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Installation Technician to join our team at Kuntz Electroplating Inc.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. As a Mechanical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining machinery, inspecting mechanical installations and construction projects, and performing limited mechanical tests and analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Machinery Installation: Install new machinery and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on existing machinery and equipment.
- Inspections: Inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure they meet safety standards.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct limited mechanical tests and analyses on machines, components, and materials.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Work Site Environment: Noisy work site environment.
- Work Setting: Manufacturing setting.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
