Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at PeopleToGo. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in field service and deskside support, with strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and POS devices.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Provide 1st level Help Desk support and perform deskside support services, installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
  • Respond to and update calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of field service experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work flexible schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
